Student Enrollment
Skills: CSS, HTML, JavaScript
The program allows the new and currents students to enroll in different courses, but no more than four courses per student and no more than three students per course. Only active enrolled students can register for new courses and update their information. Also, new students can be added and display in the current list of active students.
The Weather App
Skills: Open weather API
The weather application is a project that displays the weather for any city in the world for the next seven days. How does it work? The user inputs the name of any city in the main form. After click enter, the data is display in a table. This app was created using the weather API to get information. Also, it handles multiple promises.
Flexbox/Float
Skills: CSS Flexbox/Float
In this project, the main focus was on creating a simple static and responsive website, but make it twice, one with floats and the other one with flexbox. When the user clicks the sentence "with flexbox" located on the top-right corner of the navigation bar, it will display the same site but with float code and vice-versa. There are many CSS styles that were applied.
Battleship Game
Skills: JavaScript and DOM
This project is a simple Battleship game using JavaScript and displayed on the DOM. Through a prompt window, the players input their names that shows on the top of the game board. Each player has four ships. The players take turns to shot to the opponent's board. Finally, the players can choose to restart or play a new game.
Tic Tac Toe
Skills: React.js
The Tic Tac Toe game, is a project developed using React.js. The game allows two players. Each player can select what letter they want to be in the game, either “X” or “O.” The players will be taking turns to click the board. When there is a winner, it will be announced at the top of the board. Players are free to reset or start a new game.
Bootstrap Project
Skills: CSS selectors, Bootstrap, Media Player
This project is about creating a fully responsive static website using a free topic and implementing bootstrap, CSS selectors, and media player. The main focus for this site is wireframes, video, forms, tables, and usage of SVG icons. Forms display in modals, and images can be slide on click or automatically.
The Weather App V2
Skills: React.js and Firebase
The purpose of this project is to build a functioning app using React and firebase. The app allows users to log-in, sign-up, & reset their passwords. Also, users can look for the weather when inputting the zip code of any city, and they have the option to save, edit, or delete their favorites websites.
Dashboard CTD
Skills: React.js, Ruby on Rails
The purpose of this project is to build a Dashboard for Code the Dream School. Students will have access to a personal calendar, modules, weekly assignments, to-do list, and connect with mentors. The CTD staff will be able to admin the dashboard and follow each student’s progress.
Next Idea
Skills: React.js and Firebase
The next idea is a platform for innovators to share project ideas and find people interested in contributing to that idea. At the same time, the innovators will have the opportunity to find companies interested in investing in their projects. The technologies used are React and firebase for the users to log-in, sign-up, & reset their passwords.
